The Little People of the Secret Power In Hawaii the Menehunes are called “The Little People of the Secret Power”. They are the legendary, original inhabitants of the islands. The Menehune Babies were born in the secluded mountains of Ka’u on the Big Island of Hawaii. They go to sleep in their coconut cradles for the first 5 years of their lives. All Babies originate from the royal lineage of the Kaiholena Menehunes.

Magical Hawaiian Menehunes are Dolls with a Soul The Menehunes love playing, dancing, singing, swimming, and, most of all, eating. If you hanai (adopt) them, love them, and take care of them (You must feed them! Mai’as (Bananas) are their favorite food.), they will love you in return, guide, protect, and inspire you on your life’s journey. All Menehunes, miniature animals, coconut cradles and chairs were individually handcrafted in the Menehune’s habitat in the beautiful, secluded mountains of Ka’u on the Big Island of Hawaii with the greatest love and respect for all that is Hawaii. |

Menehune Mana (Spiritual Energy) Some of the Babies have their own special coconut cradle or chair. The coconuts were selected from palm trees at Punalu`u Black Sands Beach. They are hand carved, sanded, polished, and fit to a custom bamboo or coconut base. Every cradle has unique bedding and decorations matching the spirit of the baby. |
