Pueo (Owl) Birthdate: Iulai 21, 2008 (07/21/08) Pueo is named after his Aumakua (Guardian Spirit), the Hawaiian Owl. The Pueo has always been sacred to the Hawaiians and is considered “the Bringer of Good Luck”. Pueo is so closely connected to his Aumakua that Ulula (Baby Owl) chose him as a close friend. Ulula appears whenever Pueo calls on her but she also often comes on her own at important times of change when she knows that her advice is needed. |

Ulula always lands on Pueo’s right arm where he greets her with love and respect. Together they walk through the beautiful forest in the Kaiholena Mountains.

Pueo wears little yellow shoes, a matching King Kamehameha Helmet, and a Hawaiian Macademia Nut Lei with a feather pendant. Pueo is about 3.5” tall. Ulula is about 1.5” tall. She is intricately handcrafted out of white fur, leather for her beak and black crystals for her eyes. |

The back of his chair is covered with green ferns on brown fabric matching Pueo’s shorts and the chair’s pillow. A Kukui Nut Lei is draped over the top of the chair. |

Pueo and his brother Kanaka (Hunter) are the guardians of their sister, Princess Iolani and her Hawaiian ‘Io. Together they walk through the Ohia Forest and Malama ‘Aina (honor the land) with their Hawaiian chants. |
