Hawaiian gourds grow on a vine. Alohalanifs Tutu (grandmother) picked the most beautiful of the Ipus. She cleaned, polished and decorated it. It was her sacred gift of Aloha (Love) to her Mofopuna (granddaughter) and became Alohalanifs most treasured possession.
Alohalani wears a handmade Hawaiian grass skirt with a matching sun hat, and yellow crocheted panties. She is about 3.5h tall fitting in the palm of your hand. The body is made out of stretch cotton. The eyes and mouth are intricately embroidered onto the face. Alohalani has tiny little hands and feet, ears, buttocks, and a belly button. |

In the evenings her brother, Pufukani (Musician), accompanies Alohalani in her chants on his Ukulele. Together they sing about their Aloha Aina (love of the land). All the Menehunes love to listen to them and clap their hands with delight to the rhythm of the music.
Allow Alohalani to bless you with her love and let the spirit of Aloha shine from your heart. |

Alohalani (Heavenly Love) Birthdate: Kekemapa 24, 2010 (12/24/10) Alohalani chants and dances for her Menehune Ohana (family) to the sacred rhythm of her Ipu (gourd/drum). Alohalanifs love is like a gentle breeze, radiating calmness and warmth. She embraces and nurtures everybody with her great gift of heavenly love. Alohalani is a Menehune Kamalifi Wahine (princess). The yellow Hulu (feather) leis around her hat, wrists, and ankles are made for the Alifi (royalty) and believed to link to the divine. Alohalanifs Hawaiian Kukui Nut lei represents light, hope, and renewal. Her beautiful, long, black hair is adorned with a white Hawaiian Plumeria flower. Alohalani invites you to celebrate the spirit of love with her.

The coconut for Alohalanifs cradle was selected from palm trees at Punalufu Black Sands Beach. It is hand carved, sanded, polished, and fit to a custom coconut base. |
Her coconut cradle is signed and dated. She comes with her story and a certificate of authenticity.
A white Plumeria flower and crystal hang in the center of the cradle. On each side are 2 big Lauhala (leaves of the Hawaiian Hala tree) flowers. |
The coconut cradle also wears yellow feather lei and is surrounded by ruffles sewn out of red cotton fabric with a Plumeria flower design matching the curtains and bedding. |
When Alohalani wants to rest she closes the curtains of her coconut cradle and falls into a deep, peaceful sleep. |
