The top of the cradle is adorned with green Ti leaves and a red Hulu (feather), Kukui Nut, and red eUlafula Berry lei. In Hawaii the Hulu is believed to link to the divine. The Kukui Nut represents the inner light of spirit shining brightly. Ti Leaves provide protection from all harm. 2 small wooden Ukuleles decorate the sides of the coconut cradle.

The coconut for Pufukanifs cradle was selected from palm trees at Punalufu Black Sands Beach. It is hand carved, sanded, polished, and fit to a custom coconut base. |

At night the Ti Leaves, Hulus (feathers), and Kukui Nuts send Pufukani the sweetest dreams, making him feel happy, save and secure in his coconut cradle. In the evenings Pufukani accompanies his little sister Alohalani in her chants and dances on his Ukulele. Together they sing about their Aloha Aina (love of the land). All the Menehunes love to listen to them. They clap their hands with delight to the rhythm of the music.
